FRAPS & Video Editing Program (Posted on 1/22/13 at 10:52 am)
I use FRAPS to record games on the PC and edit them using Windows Movie Maker.
Is there any other editing software that would be better? I'm not looking for an advanced movie editor, just something simple and can do a little more than what WMM has to offer.

Nah. I've never really looked in to what people use to record. I assumed most used an actual piece of hardware to do it. My friend showed me some videos he made just playing around with it a while back and I was impressed.

I use Fraps to record gameplay, then i transfer the videos to my mac an use iMovie to edit them. I also use Garageband to add advanced soundeffects to it.

I thought about doing that. My roommate has Adobe Creative Suite and all I have is iMovie as well. I know those would be big files to transfer over so I wasn't sure how big of a pain it would be.
