Curry and Kabobs (Posted on 1/21/13 at 8:52 pm)
Searched but didn't find anything. Anybody eaten there? It was open for a while, closed, then reopened. I thought about trying it the other night, but there were only 2 cars in the lot...went elsewhere (kabobs at Albasha).

It is Indian food, not Lebanese. Quality is comparable to Bay Leaf, maybe a little greasier. It is cheaper than Bay Leaf, slightly more expensive than India's. No alcohol is served.

It's on Coursey.
I'm happy a place like this opened. I like Bay Leaf, but they are extremely over priced (their dishes are like $5-6 more than Kurry and Kabobs) and they're stuffy with the white table cloths and waiters in tuxedos.
Just don't need that with an Indian restaurant.
K&C is owned by a guy who used to work at Bay Leaf (I think a cook) and the flavors and food quality are spot on.

We love that place. Haven't been back to Bayleaf since curry and kabobs opened. The food is just as good if not better.
Definitely order the chicken tiki marsala. We also gave the lobster masala a try and it was also good. Love the sauces the dishes comes in. Goes great with some garlic nan.
My only complaint would be that there's no butter chicken on the buffet.
