I don't disagree with that, which is why I recommended a top flight PS. A good PS will act as your main exhaust. Heat rises and typically the PS is top-rear of your tower.

not in modern day enthusiast towers. you are talking about standard workstations.
nearly every enthusiast tower's PSU is at the bottom rear and has a cold air intake from the bottom.

Correct and some cases have a space for a bottom rear AND top rear PSU.

Yeah, my psu has intake and exhaust.
My current fan set up has dropped my core temps by 8c and my gpu by 6c under full load.
2 120s in the front
1. 120 intake on the side blowing onto my gpu and northbridge
1 top exhaust
1 rear exhaust
2 120s on my CPU cooler.
