Sounds like the creator over thinking in a search for something original.  Still with Kevin Bacon it can't be all bad. I'm sure I'll catch it after the DVD release.

This is one of those shows that should follow the British model of write enough for 3 seasons and end on a high note. I can see it really suffering if they don't have a set, 3-act story arc and end up dragging everything out.
