Fruitcakes like this who bring Assault rifles into shopping centers to make a statement do more harm than good. Quite honestly the idiot should be committed to a mental institution because he is incapable of making rational and intelligent decisions. How many women and children did this wackjob scare the hell out of? JC Penny should have escorted him out of the store and banned him.

Personally I wouldn't do it, but it is perfectly legal. And he contacted the local police to let them know. Sounds like a rational and intelligent decision to me.

found out one of my friends is so anti gun im not sure we can be friends any longer, she literally said "the things we do" in reference to the Newton school shooting, I was like I do what??
she really believe we as gun owners are the danger and to take our guns away

That guy is dangerous as hell and ought to be slapped. His muzzle is pointing at everyone he walks by. I'd be pissed as hell if he was pointing his weapon at me while I am I'm looking at shirts.

It's actually little pussies like you that make me think guns will be banned.
You see a scary looking gun and you immediately freak the frick out. How are you any better than any of the anti-gun people by doing that?
The guy was perfectly within his legal rights, he informed law enforcement, he was former military so he was completely trained and competent in it's use (although he does need some better muzzle discipline). I see no problem with it. If you do, then move to NY or Cali.

There was a time (40 years ago) when gun racks filled with high powered rifles and shotguns were seen all across America.
I don't think I would do it, because it would be inconvenient for me...but I am glad he did.

I wish it were acceptable to carry a rifle around with me everywhere I went. They are much more effective than a handgun, and I'm much more proficient with it than I am handguns.
If I could carry a rifle with me everywhere I went, I would.
