I think you can do a couple applications in the spring. If your weeds are bad enough, that's what I'd do.
I had sod down but the weeds from my dirt were growing out the cracks. Two applications and that shite is gone

FIL almost lost his entire backyard to those silver dollar type clovers. Started putting b-s down and it killed them all. All he had was mud left. Did b-s another time and it started growing back
