The thieves ransacked the house Wednesday night, breaking into two safes on the home's third floor and stealing a third safe. The guns were in the stolen safe, police said.
Clarkstown police said they had no evidence the burglary was connected to the controversial map.

Well, if guns were illegal then those guys couldn't have stolen them, right? It's the gun owners fault for having guns to begin with.

Isn't all permit info public record anyway? Couldn't someone who wanted to hit houses with guns just go to wherever the registry is to get the info?

Yes... But there is def a difference between a devoted criminal taking the time and going to do the research themselves and someone laying it on a golden platter for them.

No point in explaining to Decatur. He is just here to get yall riled up. By reading his post you should be able to tell this and responding to him only feeds him and keeps him coming back. Because surely, everyone and anyone, that can think reasonably, would know that if the info wasnt provided these burglaries would not be happening. No one is going to leave a paper trail to follow just steal a few guns. Also i bet crime has risen in that area since the map was posted. So lets see, before map gun theft non existent, after map 2 or 3 a month. Hmmm pretty much all the evidence needed. Before map low home break ins, in the month since map printed 2 or 3.
