I cant see them risking that with the current economy. Not too much spare money around these days. If people want one bad enough they will do the conversion themselves.

Here's a 2011 with that JK-8 conversion kit they mention in the article. Looks bad a$$.

I think they'd sell. The reason people don't buy jeeps is because they don't have a bed.

I would love one. I hate full size pickups and there is very little out there these days in smaller trucks. I think there would be a good market for this if done right.

I have a last generation dodge dakota 4 dr. It is okay but it gets horrible MPG. 15 in town and slightly over 20 highway. Not a well built truck by any means. I would trade it but I don't want another payment. Something based on a Jeep would be perfect.
