Should be good. Me and my buddy came up with 2 endings we could see happening (both similar):
1) They "reset" the timeline somehow and the last scene is Peter and Olivia in the park with Etta the day the Observers showed up. Although this time when they hear a noise and look up it's just some kid getting in trouble and not the Observers coming to rape the world. Peter gives Olivia a relieved smile and happy ending.
2) The "Inception" ending. Same scenario and setting, although when Peter hears the commotion as normal we see him look up and then cut to black.
*I don't read spoilers this is all me. If I end up being right I will be leaving immediately to become a writer in LA

Number 1 is how a lot of us feel like it is going to end...not sure about the kid getting in trouble, but I like that take.

FWIW, did you not notice that Peter wasn't as optimistic about the outcome of this plan? The reason Walter would give his life.. is because in a timeline without September - Peter will stay on the Red Side, and there will no cortexiphan trials and more than likely.. Peter will be on the Red side for his entire life..
therefore, everything will be different.

Yeah but I for one will be pissed if EVERYTHING is reset and they have no knowledge of the prior events

I think there will be more to it than that.. also: going back to just the beginning of this season kinda hurts a bit, there are a few more things that need to be explained than just back to the beginning of this season.

Don't forget, without the pattern and all that jazz, Red Side Liv will actually be much more like the Liv we know and love.. it wouldn't be the most awful situation for Peter to end up with the Liv.
