So to summarize:
- ND and Te'o saying Te'o got duped
- Cardinals FB saying he met the girl and shes real
- Deadspin saying Te'o and Tuiassopo made it all up
- ND teammate doubting the validity of Te'o's account of his "GF" death
This is the most fricked up situation in Sports since the Tiger Woods scandal.

You're forgetting the Penn State story, which was way more fricked up than Tiger Woods and I'd say more fricked up than this due to what happened.
Now is this the most bizarre story? Yes. Of all the fricked up events that have happened in sports, is this the one that has me most intrigued/ready to follow? Hell yes.

I don't think so.
The way Manti and Notre Dame came out, I think it's pretty safe to say that Deadspin's integrity is in tact. Notice how neither of them came out maliciously attacking Deadspin. They know deadspin is right.

deadspins report was great, accurate, and mostly well done.
however, claiming that an anonymous person was "80% sure Manti was involved" is sensationalist journalism and amateur.

the source is anonymous but they are a real person connected to the "gang"...obviously close enough to Teo that he didn't want his name out there...Deadspin is using real people as sources not fake ones like ya boy
