Love me some Polish Prince. Derek mentioned a good point on the radio. The New Orleans area will be load with talent for the 2014 class. Getting Clapp this early basically gives us yet another recruiter for the NOLA area. I talked to DP after a show one time and he said that when its all said and done that Leonard Fournette could be the best running back prospect to ever come out of Louisiana.

My questions to the RB....
Do yall agree with DP about getting Clapp so early and do you agree on DP's thoughts of Leonard Fournette?

Well it makes sense. I just hope he's passionate about playing for us. But does he come in contact with fournette a lot? Cuz that would be awesome if he is.

He may be the highest rated prospect, but don't forget, Marshal Faulk came out of Louisiana.

I think Derek's exact words were... "this kid is the next Herschel Walker"

Sad to say white athletes like Clapp don't socialize with the black ones. Don't think it will add much

They're probably not going to be BFF's but there could be a mutual respect there. They will cross paths at least when BM plays Aug and Fournette may think damn I want to run behind this guy if Clapp shows up.

I think the bigger angle is Speedy Noil --> Gerald Willis --> Leonard Fournette. That's how the dominos will fall.

You think we "slow play" Noil and try and get a few WR's on board before he publicly commits?

Sure hope not....I want Noil to commit soon..if people are scared of competition then we dont need them here.

On another note, today on the Buddy Songy show Tommy Clapp (Will's father) stated how Frank Wilson wanted Will to take the lead in recruiting the NOLA area. He also said that Will has a good relationship with Trey Quinn..FWIW
