Analysis: LSU saw a flood of defenders enter the draft, but Minter is the one who should be taken first. Surprised to see Mingo and Minter so high. I was actually thinking Minter would be better off staying another year and vaulting himself into the middle first round.

Thank you Chavis!!! It's great to have a defense with good skill at LB and good coaching to enhance that skill. I love watching LSU's front 7. Everybody gives the Dline and DBs so much credit for the last few years (and much is deserving), but fans should realize that the LBs have played above expectations since Chavis has arrived in BR, and the cupboard is full for the future. If LSU can produce a few 1st rounders at LB, the LB recruiting should only get better!

Sam to the Giants would be ideal fit. They've groomed some great ones there and Tuck and Osi are getting to be dinosaurs.
