A killer with 10-10 round mags will do big time damage as well. This administration just doesn't get it!

it takes so long to reload magazines on an AR, it will save countless lives in the 15 minutes it takes the police to arrive

This is absolutely true.

None of them even know what they are legislating against.

Obama and Biden forgot to mention that a new EO will require that all detachable magazines be secured with hardware that will require a government issued wrench and three hands to operate. Just another "right thing to do" from Obama.

EO's can only be made to existing laws. Obama will not be able to use his powers on this issue.

Osama isnt looking to prevent any killings or shootings. Theyre just using this as an excuse to disarm his subjects (us)

Even some of the liberals know it won't stop anything.

No one should have any illusions about what was accomplished (by the ban). Assault weapons play a part in only a small percentage of crime. The provision is mainly symbolic; its virtue will be if it turns out to be, as hoped, a stepping stone to broader gun control. Washington Post

Yep. Stupid BEECH at work told me the other day there was no need for someone in the U.S. to own an automatic weapon with a high-capacity mag. I told her "I have an automatic weapon with 13 rounds in it in my briefcase here. So what you are saying is when someone comes to rob our place of employment you would rather me have a weapon with fewer bullets to defend you and everyone else here?"

She still doesn't get it. I think U.S. government officials voting on firearm regulations would be like the OB voting on nail polish quality.

You carry an automatic handgun? Glock 18c or Beretta 93?

It's all symbolic to appease the idiots who don't know any better. Which is by far the majority of voters in this country.

If someone else dies because of it, is it still worth it?

I am not sure why Biden would ask the advice of parents who just had their kids killed. Wouldn't they be too emotional to make a logical decision? Wtf was with asking the kids what they wanted?

Someone will die because you can't have a high capacity rifle?

Ban pools then. 250 kids drown in them every year.

Jesus Christ... this argument again?

More children are killed by abusive parents than firearms every year.

More children are killed by drunk drivers than firearms every year.

More children are killed by blunt object than firearms every year.

More children are killed by fists and legs than by firearms every year.

"But if it saves 1 life" My arse...

If you really want to help protect children, get to the ROOT of the problem. Guns are not the root of the problem. They are merely tools.
