If so, where at? Looks to be a cold blue bird weekend on the water.

At da camp brah. Been whacking specs at night of our dock. Probably going to try some sight fishing for reds under that big glowing ball I haven't seen in weeks. Bayou decade area.

Heading to Hopedale again Friday. But with the warmer temps on Saturday and Sunday, I might even break my personal rule against fishing on the weekends. May go Sunday afternoon as well.

Gonna go to D'Arbonne, unlimber the yoyos, stand around a fire, chef up sumpin in the ole dutch oven and take it easy. Lake just reached flood stage accordin to the USGS site.
Also put a new retaining wall in when the water was down and want to see how its holdin up.
With all the current, gonna hafta check a few holes where ole piscus micropterus salmoides likes to stack up.
Mr. offshore trash, is the water real muddy?
correction, 6" below flood stage

I have a small boat, but not a yak, so I need about 2 to 3 feet of water to get around. My usual place at the coast in Vermillion is still flooded and basically unfishable. But I really want to get out this weekend. Any suggestions of a good area for fishing for reds which is not on the other side of New Orleans?

Dularge or pointe aux Chenes are really the closest for good yak fishing. PAC is my favorite

Indian Creek or Cane, but IC fish hate blue skies.
