Just heard him say that during an interview and can't agree more. He may have been shut out of the Oscars but he still knows the importance of being in such a future classic.

Blade runner is flawless aside from the crummy voice over narration.

Looper did some amazing stuff but it has some issues.

Inception won't be seen as a Blade Runner, and Looper wasn't nearly as good as Inception.

1. Inception is not a classic
2. Blade Runner is #1 or #2 on every list of greatest sci fi films. It is a true classic. The special effects used 30 years ago looks infinitely better than some of the stuff you see today.

What does that make Mysterious Skin? A modern-day Citizen Kane?

Inception doesn't belong next to Blade Runner or Looper. It's lofty popcorn movie.

I like the narration. It lets me know what's going on.

Looper addressed deeper issues. I felt like Blade Runner was just a giant commercial for action figures.

I'm pretty sure someone has already said this. Inception is not a classic. Blade Runner has stood the test of time. Let Inception age for 20 years and we can have this discussion.

False. The totem will still be spinning 20 years later...

I'm gonna be crucified for this but I have always found Blade Runner, and Ridley Scott for that matter, to be highly overrated.

I've already forgotten the "rules" of Inception. Classic...it is not. The Matrix Revolutions is easier to understand that Inception's premise.

What? He didn't "sell" the movie?
