I noticed the non conference games were White, so does that mean the SEC home games will be Gold?
I think Gold at home and Purple on the road looks good.

Needs to be these at home..... 
and these on the road.... 
Toonces and the LSU lettering looks awful on basketball uniforms.But to answer your question, they only wore gold because it was the gold game. They'll usually wear purple on road, white at home.

I agree on the Toonces logo and lettering...I do like the gold at home though.

They won't wear it for every game but most of the big ones. I love it and wish they wore them more

I talked to Kent Lowe, Sr. Associate Sports Information Director, and he said the uniform choice is done on a game by game basis and there is no season planning involved. The one game was gold jerseys because it was the gold game but no other games have been chosen.

agreed. I think the shorts look too big. Hasto be tough to dribble under those things.

Those specific uniforms originated during the TJ era. They should have went to Texas with TJ.
The jerseys are too tight, the pants look like parachutes. Toonces rounds out the logo on the shorts. It is "turrible".
Redesign the jersey, and replace toonces with the classic tiger logo (the ones on our football helmet) or the eye.

Most Nike schools have the tight jersey loose shorts look. It's not an LSU thing, it's a Nike thing.

The Shaq jerseys are sweet, but so were the Stromile Swift era jerseys. And let's get this court back while we're at it instead of the ugly arse court we have now. The LSU basketball brand is one of the worst in the country.

The overall design of the Stromile era jerseys aren't terrible, but the LSULSULSU collar/trim is horrific up close.
I have one of those game jerseys hanging in my closet, and it's pretty terrible.

The jerseys just seem to be too busy. Nike does offer different uniform styles that aren't parachute shorts. The unis need to simply say LSU or Tigers with the Eye of the Tiger logo and have simple piping. Jerseys in white, purple and gold only. Black is not an LSU color so we don't need black unis.

The gold is only when they "deserve to wear it". It's typically a big game, but wearing the gold is meant to represent the good teams in the past as they wore gold
