I live in gulfport. A buddy of mine goes to ole miss and hes a huge LSU fan. He knows a ton of the players from the team and he told me this weekend that a few of them say its not what the media is making it out to be, there's actually a legitimate chance of it being 50/50.

Granted the guy who ran over him was huge (FB about 240lbs)!!! He caught the ball out in the flat and ran directly over DK. The team was really hyped after that play.

I rarely judge players in high school all star games because it is tough to gauge what they can do with barely any practice time with his teammates and no real gameplan. It's just hard to gain anything on recruits in these all-star games. He may get to LSU and fit in perfectly with Chavis' system

Two things here: There are THREE weekends left to visit (18th, 25th and 1st. Quiet period doesn't start until the 3rd) and he may be cancelling his Ole Miss visit instead. Kind of like he has already been to Ole Miss enough to know what they offer

Well if Kamara can hold his own and is a worthy recruit, go for it. Can't hurt with RN. They've been friends since the 6th grade. That's someone that would be tough to not see every day all of a sudden.
And I don't think anyone is crazy for thinking we're still in the hunt for RN. I still don't think he's coming, but I am encouraged that LSU is still trying. They are privy to information that none of us are, no matter how much we like to fancy ourselves as recruiting gurus.

Why does Rivals list Alabama & Clemson has high interest along with Ole Miss, and LSU with only medium interest?

not true at all. Kids dont always commit when they get it figured out. Esp the top players, and ESPN is asking you to not declare so you can do it on their program on NSD.

yea why not just commit to Ole Miss now why drag it out, and then say no more visits and goto UF lol. A lot of this is predicated on these recruiting sites fawning over these kids, they are 18 they dont know up from down day to day.

A few months ago, I gave us at least a chance at 50/50 being that we are LSU, and we can have that with a kid that we are already on his radar. But now, just wow, wow. I don't think he is coming here. I will believe he visits once he is on campus. I will believe he is a Tiger on National Signing Day once it is still being confirmed the day after.
