It's almost time, the biggest, baddest, most awesome MWADS list we've done yet.
Ballots: Community Vote. 30? 50? What will it be.
Movie List: Everything with 5+ Votes rounded down to nearest 50th
Reviews: Recruiting writers EARLY, PLUS a backlog of reviews to fill in the gaps.
Top 5: Point Counterpoint between two posters
Fireworks: Yes
JGL Appearance: Most likely.
Caddyshack 2: Probably not, but we can only hope.
Prepare yourselves.
So this what I need from YOU, the people:
1. Ballot Size Vote (25,30,35,40,50, >50)
2. Writer Declaraton (Yes I want homework.I meant write)
3. Point/Counterpoint Offer (must be willing to write about the Top 5 whether you like the film or not)
4. JGL connection?

Writers: Freauxzen, Baloo, iwy, H-Town, OMLandshark. etm512, magildachunks
Point-Counterpoint: Freauxzen, H-Town, Baloo
We need more writers.

I'd be willing to passover my formulas and what not for people to use for TV shows, but I won't head that up. TVADS? Someone do it.

Can we just make this the nomination thread?
Lets do Top 40 instead of 20 like usual. Double the size of the list, so double the candidates.

No. Number One I want a sticky. So when 1970s is done, it's on.
Number Two, give it a week or two, I want the voting thread to be up for like 3 weeks.
Number Three - We have specifics to work out. I want a list of writers NOW. I will share the Previous Top 50 from this and the 2000s list that way they can know what to expect and start writing NOW.
I'm going to need help. I know I can count on iwy, but might need another.

One vote for 40.
My ONLY issue with ballot size is all formulas work best if EVERYONE does the same ballot. If most people agree to a large ballot, I'll set a cap on minimum balance size, otherwise it's hard to work out the numbers.
I think. A statistics person can tell me I'm wrong.

Here's a question, for trilogies like "The Lord of the Rings", could we submit it as a trilogy or do we have to do each film individually?

40 is a good number. I could do a list of 100 but movies 60-100 would be interchangeable given the day of the week.

How does this work exactly? I'd be interested in doing this but I dk what kind of quality writing I could do for 40 movies
