Break Free CLP or Eezox are my preferred all in one product (clean, lubricate and protect) at this time. The only problem w/ the latter is availability, esp. since Midway USA no longer carries it. As far as a bore cleaner only, I like a 1:3 mixture of Kroil and Shooter's Choice or Hoppes's #9. Corrosion X and Shooter's Choice Rust Prevent are really good protectants. Just don't use WD40 for gun cleaning/protection.

I use CLP and its a great gun oil and cleaner. I also recommend slip 2000. Has anyone used frog lube or royal purple gun oil? If so worth the extra dough

Breakfree CLP is the best all in one. Has been used by the Marines Corps for the past 20 years. I know that I dont put my guns through what they do.
I use some SLP 2000 on the heavy wear spots on my people killer rifles and on my hunting rifles before I store them for the summer.

I'll be testing out FireClean in a few months.
