Is Laron Landry an upgrade over Malcom Jenkins?

Even in the slightest of bit, and move Malcom over to a nickel position, could improve the team maybe at least make us a bit more physical.

Laron's got 4 force fumbles to Malcom's none. 2 INT's to Malcom's 1. Improvement is Improvement. Especially possibly run defense.

If you don't think he's an upgrade, you can say so but its pretty tough to defend that stance in my opinion.

95% he's a free safety. He's got more pass deflections, forced fumbles, tackles, and INT's than Malcom Jenkins. Yeremiah Bell was there SS.

He was initially, but he switched to SS while he was still in Washington. My buddy is a Skins fan and I remember him talking about it. Unless he switched back in NY, he's a SS.

he's a dual kind of player that i think did some time at SS but i'm 95% positive he was a FS at Jets. Blues owes me an apology.

Let's say you're right: he sucks in coverage. That miracle comeback in Washington in 09 wouldn't have happened without him. He never saw a double move he didn't wanna bite.

so does Jenkins. He may suck less than Jenkins. He's got the pass defending numbers to prove such of an opinion. I think laron's pass defense is also generally SLIGHTLY JUST SLIGHTLY underrated bc of big plays he can give up too.

Landry can cover but he's anxious to make the big hit so he bites on PA alot. Wasn't an issue for him this year
