Thanks Toad. So it's Qualls and Fish for the Americans? Well they won't be around long.

Most likely, makes me actually miss Roddick just on the outside chance he gets hot and makes a deep run.

Big_Cock_Fan is SoCar from CS1 btw.

Baker was wheelchaired off the court, not good at all, sucks for him and what he has been through.

He was really looking good too.

ETA: They are saying torn ACL.

All the talent I. The world but body not made for the beating tennis puts on it. That's an acl, 3 hip surgeries, an elbow, awns a sports hernia - all by 27. Late in the game for a come back from ACL. Not sure an tennis player has come back from acl much less the other stuff.

On the other hand, Federer was just made for tennis. 31 and really no major injuries to speak of.

He never does seem to tire, but I would put that butt picking Spaniard who takes these odd sabbaticals and the Serbian who magically went from good to great one year, looks like a Tour cyclist, and uses a CVAC machine ahead of Roger on the suspect list.

You basically have to question anyone who dominates now.

How would PED's really help a tennis player become a lot better?

PEDs would help tennis players A LOT. They're not going to make them hit a prettier backhand, but they'll allow them to run down an extra ball in the 5th set so that they can hit that pretty backhand.

Stupid post.

Listen, I have no idea whether Federer or anybody else is on PEDs, but PEDs aren't going to allow Federer to stay healthy. They don't make PEDs for tendons and ligaments.

He is really good. He was the #2 junior player in the world in 2003,* and you can just tell watching him play how much game he has. Sweet sweet backhand, among other shots. Damn shame his body isn't cut out for the grind.

*Marcos Baghdatis was #1

Watch out for my homeboy Rhyne Williams

He won the first two sets easy. Then dropped the third. Then dropped fourth in a tiebreaker that he lost 14-16. Then he hit the wall and lost the last set 1-6.

Bummer. He was working dude over in the fist two sets. He needs to keep working on his fitness.

Did any of y'all see Andy Murray play?

I didn't see him play, but people on twitter were saying he was just straight up disgusting.

I did see Novak's first match, and that dude is DEFINITELY straight up disgusting. Dude was having a great deal of difficulty even winning single points off him. I don't see him losing (but I do want to see Murray play first).

Joao Sousa has no business being on the same tennis court with Andy Murray.

This is akin to watching Djokovic v. Ryan Harrison.
