If I could only go back in time and tell myself to put down that neon pink sweatshirt and matching scrunchy too.

Tastes evolve as you grow-up. There's some stuff I wouldn't touch again but I don't know that I'm necessarily embarrassed by it because we were all listening to the same shite. Like Creed, Limp Bizkit, Staind, etc.

I listened to some bad stuff when I was a kid in the late 70s and early 80s... not really embarrassed... it was all I had access to and loved music

Luckily, I was old enough and had developed my musical taste enough not to suffer through Bush, STP, No Doubt, etc in the 90s and later creed/Limp Biskit and all that other stuff...

Thank god im not a teenager today with the popular music of the time now...

I was never a NKOTB fan. they opened up for tiffany, of which, I admit to loving when I was 12.

I'd have to say Eminem. At the time, I thought he was cool. I was 16. I have no idea how I ever took him seriously. His rhymes are weak and his lyrics are written for ICP fans.

I bought a Markie Mark and the Funky Bunch album.

frick. That's when CDs were like 20 bucks at the mall and 20 bucks then is like 40 bucks now.

Moslty 80's stuff like Chicago. I used to get into all that 80's crap and it is almost unlistenable now. Even for 80's.

I'm not really embarrassed about anything that I used to listen to. But there are definitely some things that I grew out of, and I can't relate to anymore. Punk rock like Sex Pistols, Operation Ivy, Dead Kennedys, and Green Day. I have never played the Red Hot Chili Peppers since I graduated from high school. If I'm out and they come on then it's okay. I just am never in the mood to listen to it in particular anymore.

Not really embarrassed but I listened to some off the wall stuff at once. Front 242 and Skinny Puppy to name a couple.

Not necessarily- at 15, I was already getting into John Coltrane and Miles Davis, but I still listened to Led Zeppelin & Black Sabbath too. I try to keep an open mind and expand my music tastes, even in my advanced age,but I draw the line when it comes to most rap...

Nickelback in 2001. I discovered them before they were really big and thought I was cool.

I grew up about 2 years later and realized how much they sucked. UGH

I was 12 when Def Leppard's Pyromania came out. Thankfully that phase didn't last long.

I still enjoy them from time to time. Front 242, otoh, hasn't held up well at all. Very dated sounding.

I don't think I've ever known anyone who was embarrassed to say that they liked Alice in Chains...
