Would you want a decibel meter in TS?

One that posted the decibels next the big screen. It wouldn't take up much room. I also think it would get the crowd to work towards higher benchmarks.

No. Too cheesy and contrived for TS.

Too "cheesy" for the Home of the Earthquake Game?

Yeah, we didn't intend for that to happen, which is why it's so cool.

I wouldn't mind it.. Would be pretty cool actually. I just want to be on the sidelines when BAMA has the ball and its 3rd down backed up against their end zone.

I think that would be a great idea. That will give the fans a goal to shoot for during games. I'd bet fans will pay more attention to disrupting opponents offenses in critical situations.

Only if it was realistic. Nothing worse than those cheesy cartoony ones

Yeah, but it's now part of LSU lore. Tiger Stadium is associated with loudness. And like some have mentioned, it might invite more fan participation and endurance.

Maybe. I just don't like the idea personally.

It would just be the number readings.

I totally agree. This is an awesome idea!! Fans would definitely have a goal to shoot for, and it would help be disruptive to opposing defenses.

That'd be really cool. As long as it did real readings and like the others said not the cartoony BS

yeah, I hate these obviously pre-made "decibel meters" they'll flash on the scoreboard for other sports stadiums.

And who gives a shite if it's cheesy. Toonces is still a thing and has been for over a decade now.

No, Auburn has a decibel meter that shows on the sideline boards and I think it takes away from their stadium

that was a 2-2 LSU team that didnt score a point for 55 minutes. our pussy fanbase today would have been long gone at that point.

a decibel meter might be good for a place like Oregon, but when would we use it? when we're boo'ing our own team? not only do our fans bail by the third quarter now but they brag about it. the aura of Tiger Stadium is nothing but a myth at this point.

No. It probably wouldn't ever get as high as people think it would which would take away from the mystical aura of Tiger Stadium.

Why does it matter if it's a blowout?

Yeah I was about to say if it was after half time the decibel meter wouldn't move much
