Man it pisses me off to let weathermen screw up a hunting or fishing trip.

Guys at the camp were crying yesterday, "We have to leave. We can't hunt tomorrow. it's supposed to rain."

Weathermen were calling for an 80% chance of rain starting at 2 am and going on all morning. Now, it's 35 minutes after shooting time and not a shower on the radar.

ETA: Now at 7:30 the weather channel is calling for a 70% chance of rain at 8:00 and there's still not a blip on the radar.

According to the weather channel, it should be storming on.me right now. I'm decked out in rain gear and have my umbrella and all set up.

Yeah, but I mean when they call for calm winds and it is 15-20.

Weathermen know as much about the weather as men know about women.

We fished Big Lake 2 weekends ago in 15+ winds and limited on big trout.

Sometimes the wind is your friend.

If it's really windy we have places where fish bite..Just have to adapt.

I took last week off work to hunt the rut.
40 hrs vacation. I got one hunt in.
Nothing but rain.

I'm miserable.

I'm heading out this afternoon. Screw the rain. I've had to work this weekend and I ain't letting a little rain stop me. I can sit in the truck listen to the radio if it gets bad.

I've done this before. It was better than being at home.

Not when you've driven 3 hours to go offshore and the calm seas are 5 to 6.

The storm that was 80% to be here at 2:00 am just got here at 11:30.
