Joey Galloway saying that you always here of in fight on the LSU coaching staff. The other guys says many of the 10 underclassmen leaving won't be drafted. If many is one player, then he is correct. There will probably be more than 10 drafted because Lavar Edwards will be playing in the NFL for a long time.

It's ESPN, what do you expect? Neither of those guys knows anything about LSU but they're supposed to be "experts".

Also, what the hell is Galloway talking about with this? We've had a decent amount of coaching turnover recently so I'm not sure how someone could "always" be hearing about feuds.

They are constantly trying to knock us down a notch to the kids we have in the hopper. They know we will beat their teams most of the time. They scared.
If we are 7th, they list 6 on the scroller line or the chart. If we 6th, they list 5. If u haven't noticed, it's unbelievable and on all the stations/boards unless were #1 or 2.

That bullcrap Galloway said about something has to be going on is uncalled for. It's one thing for that fans to say that but the media should only report the facts. But the 'E' in ESPN stands for entertainment.

I once heard that men get married with a dream of a nymphomaniac sleeping beside them. In a few years the nympho leaves, but the maniac stays on. Probably why the divorce rate is so high.
This is how I am beginning to see ESPN. I will look at it with the thought I will get some good reporting, and some knowledgeable commentary. Yet, lately, when I watch, I feel like they have managed to find some of the most idiotic commentators alive. (BTW, wouldn't you haved loved to have sat next to Lou Holtz as you watched the title game with Bama and, please bow your heads, Notre Dame?) I wonder if they even believe the stupidity they uttered because it has no basis in fact. I certainly can't comment on "strife in the LSU coaching ranks," but I have never heard of that before. There's probably more evidence that Miles does as much as possible to help his assistants than harm them. I know this. I wouldn't want to work for Nick Saban.
As for the ten guys leaving, Mike Detillier's interviews with Scott Long's Dandy Don page explained a lot of what I and others had surmised. Why stay if you won't break into the lineup to showcase your skills? Why take a chance on being hurt and being tagged as injury prone? Why not take a chance on getting about $300,000 plus as a salary? The new collective bargaining agreement does change things.
There was post earlier about what do we think Miles' players think of him or LSU after they leave. I think this. Who gives a damn what they think after it's over? Ever watch them annouce the starting lineups for an NFL game. It sometimes goes like this.

Tell me if that's not somebody was was thrilled with his college experience. People who go to college, ALL PEOPLE who go to college, go with grand expectations, some of those expectations and dreams go unrequited. As I read some of these posts sometimes, I am amazed at how negative some people are about the team, and I do like Miles and think he is a decent coach. I also think he makes some completely boneheaded decisions, and we need a true offensive coordinator. In the course of the season I would read about our conservatism. In the Clemson game we throw three times at the end, and we lose the game. People can't criticize him enough, but IF METTENBERGER makes the throw, he would have been a genius. "We should have run the ball!"
Why in the world would we care WHAT ESPN thinks? I have started thinking of the experience of watching ESPN like when someone would wait for PMS to end in the house.

I haven't watched ESPN since 1/9. Besides a game on it. frick their "analysts".
Palmer Is good. Scott van pelt is good but I just listen to him on XM.

Joey Galloway, Robert Smith ... what's the deal with the ex-Buckeyes? FWIW, Joey Galloway is clueless as a commentator. Smith could be good if he didn't let his biases get in the way.
