I am not keeping Salvador; I might as well get something before releasing him in March. You can offer me whatever pick you want for Beachy if you are interested in a similar deal.

Just bc it's the offseason doesn't make it alright to make bullshite trades. This shite would be shot down in the regular season. You should have to give fair value for a player. It's borderline collusion to trade a keeper for a 17th round pick

I fail to see how this is collusion. I am not keeping the player, so I may as well get something out of it because there is no other way I would move Perez.
I asked Lou to offer the picks and I would accept the deal. Did the same shite at the keeper deadline, but I was offered better deals.

I mean, you traded a guy "with keeper value" for what is essentially a pick in the 25th round in the draft. It's not benefitting you while he adds that guy for nothing. The dude is already missing 2 picks in the top 10 rounds and you do him a favor by taking one of his 17th round picks.
The whole "there's no other way id move Perez" is stupid. Just let him go back in the draft rather than give him away. At least then you'd have a chance to draft him

Put up a poll and vote on it if y'all feel trades like these shouldn't happen.
He sent me an email asking if I'd be interested, and I said I can't really afford to move picks being that I'm already missing a 4th and 7th. He responded back saying he wasn't looking for much; he was just looking to dump him. FTR, my initial offer was a 5 round upgrade but I misread the pick matrix and he said frick it and offer it anyway with the 3 round upgrade.
I have been a victim of getting shafted in trades so I will have no problem accepting the other way. Everyone else would do the same, so don't act like any of y'all are above it. People were chomping at the bit to offer me horrendous trades when I first joined this league.
As far as if I'm actually keeping him, as of now I guess. I actually like Youk more this coming year, but being that I already have 2 1B and a 3B it would create a logjam at 1B/3B/Util before the draft even starts.
