I don't think half of rondos team is keepers. Doesn't mean they should be given away to someone.
i don't care who the player is, just the principal of it happening. There's no gamesmanship from either side. You get a player for nothing and he gets nothing for it. If you're happy with getting a free player and vkc is happy with getting nothing then by all means go for it. Just thought I wouldn't see something like that with you guys.

I didn't question your ethics. I already said I know y'all had no ill intentions with it. I did say it was borderline collusion, keyword borderline, because that deal would be questioned in the regular season.
And I don't care about voting. I just wanted to cut off the hunky dory gee golly ill give you a player for free bullshite before it becomes a common occurrence. Rondo was already licking his chops

I am sorry that you disagreed with the principle of it, and I will not do it again.
I made an offer to everyone that if they wanted Beachy or Perez (who I do not view as keepers), then to send me a pick for them.
I basically treated it like one of these pay what you want restaurants. I told Lou to offer me whatever and I would accept it. We did exactly that.
My logic was that I was moved up around 40 spots with this pick even if it was on the tail end of the draft. I was losing nothing. To me, a trade should benefit both sides. I think it achieved that end. Furthermore, now Youkilis will probably be entered back into the draft (who I like a lot more than Perez) and I can maybe attempt to draft him.
If you guys see it as bullshite or whatever, then I think the other 12 owners (not Lou or I) should handle the situation. FWIW, I am fine with what I got in the trade and personally do not see it as collusion, but it is totally up to you.

The reason it appears to be "borderline collusion" is because its the closest thing to you actually dropping a guy you aren't keeping and Louie picking him up in the FA pool to keep.
This is essentially just a welfare trade.

Yeah that's what I'm saying.
It's all good, I just don't think that should become a common practice in the league. I have guys like Swisher Stubbs Willingham etc that I want to get rid of but I'm not going to give them away to a competitor
