I remember Denzel saying Spike Lee tried for years to get him to do a Robinson biopic. Eventually, he just felt he was too old to pull it off. Would've probably had to do it as soon as they finished Malcolm X.

The actor seems good...but wrong for the part. He still seems impressive acting wise....but not Robinson. Put it this way....If Tarantino went with an unknown....I could have seen this dude as Django. Robinson sounded more like RG3.

I see what you're getting at but you can't accurately assess that since the actor playing Robinson only talks about 5 times in the trailer.
