I believe July.
I remember Denzel saying Spike Lee tried for years to get him to do a Robinson biopic. Eventually, he just felt he was too old to pull it off. Would've probably had to do it as soon as they finished Malcolm X.

Yup and Chattanooga, Atlanta and Macon.
It was a decent trailer until Jay-Z piped in and ruined it. It'll end up being another 'white folks are bad mmmkay' movie. But not as bad as some of the others we've been subjected to lately

They filmed this up in chattanooga. i saw where they put green screens all aroung the old baseball stadium where they shot a lot of the movie. it was really cool looking.
