He needs to have a press conference and explain why/how this is happening and what he plans to do to keep this from happening every year.

Every big-time program has juniors that can come out. And many top-level juniors come out every year.

But to have virtually an entire senior class abandon a program when it is about to peak speaks volumes about how satisfied the players are with the system and/or the coaching staff.

There should be some element of "I want to stay here and win a national championship next year." But evidently the players don't believe that way. Maybe there's no confidence that the coaching staff can lead them to a championship. Or maybe we just happen to have a lot of players that want the money now. Whatever it is...

Miles must address the situation for the media, the fans, and future recruits. Otherwise, it just festers and becomes the subject of speculation and hurts the fans, recruiting, and ultimately the entire program.

How stupid are you?

6 of these guys gave LSU 4 years of their lives.

The exodus means he recruited extremely well three years ago and many players worked hard and improved enough to make it to the league...I would rather him be out recruitng more NFL talent right now than giving meaningless press conferences.

Putting 6-8 guys in the NFL all in one year is an awesome thing for the future of our program

Grow up. Do your own homework, go read what the players themselves say and use your own GD brain for once. It's people like you that make this country the shitty place it is by always "demanding" an explanation. Go cry me a river.

Because you bought a car flag or a honey badger t-shirt? Therefore he works for you right?

I love LSU football but I would have done the same exact thing as every one of those players. They are off to go make big $$$ rather than risk getting hurt their senior season. I dont blame any of them for leaving.

People with half a brain know why this is happening. Why does Miles owe us a press conference.

Why? So he can tell us that they were ready for the NFL?

No it doesn't.

Really it was just a lot of personal decisions that all came to a head this year.

Montgomery , Faulk and Mingo could have come out last year as RS so like Brockers and they came back for one more shot.

Some decisions were discipline related like Wing and Mathieu.

Some were family reasons like Simon and Reid - both have kids to support.

Some were academic related like Ford.

Some were my stock is not going any higher and the position I play is a short one in NFL terms and I'm healthy - Ware.

Some don't want to risk another injury and is still good enough to go by 3rd round - Faulk.

One blew up and had a phenomenal year and graduated - Minter.
