My wife shot this recently on a team building exercise with some of the guys from work. She has decided that this should be her first gun. She says wants to shoot at the range for recreation. Home safety is a secondary motive. What says the OB?

You could always get her a 10/22 (much cheaper and more readily available). You can let her customize it how she wants. If she likes the AR look, you can make the 10/22 look taht way pretty simply.

Didn't you lose a lot of good guns and ammo in that wreck?

Got it a month ago and have only put 625 rounds through it.

They go for $250 in the stores. The gun is stock with a 25rd magazine and I have an extra magazine to go with it (addl $25.00). Make me an offer.

FIFY.

Seriously, the buying a 10/22 and customizing it is a good idea.

you will have just as much in the 10/22 though by time you get the new stock and accessories. More if you can find the SW for $250
