I'll let two coaches who beat us tell you what's wrong with our coaching staff.

Too predictable on offense and defense.
After the Bama loss:
Saban on LSU's defense during Bama's winning drive: "They did exactly what we thought they'd do."
After the Clemson loss:
Brent Venables (D-Co) on LSU's offense: "Their idea of a trick play is a play action pass."
Pathetic.

You're right. Our defense fuking sucks. We should fire Chavis.

inb4 "why do you hate LSU football/worship Alabama/Saban?"

So the defense is predictable? Yet no one is able to blow the doors off it.

After a 1 pt win. He speaking like they won by 30 points. He probably feels the same way about Alabama. Yet look at where they are. They play-action passed all night. You should with a strong running game.

All I'm asking from Chavis is to scrap the "prevent defense" everytime the other team goes into their 2 minute drill.

They knew a true freshmen would get the call wrong and blitz instead of covering the RB coming out of the backfield.
Now that's coaching

Don't listen to them... listen to the experts on this board who claim the problem is our players who can't seem to develop under our coaching staff. It's their fault. They can't seem to execute a scheme that everyone in the stadium knows is running. It's all their fault and not the coaching.
I mean seriously... they're right. It's clearly the players. Because every year they tell us it's the players. I mean the players change every year and the coaching staff stays the same but it's the players.

Dont forget what Towson said as well
"We should have beaten them. We knew that was their weakness; they couldn't pass. So, that's what
we attacked. We stopped their run game and they couldn't pass and it showed. We prepared very
well."

We win ball games despite Miles, not because of Miles, on pure talent and shitty schemes.

The other butthurt statements are just strong evidence, but this one proves you have no fricking clue what you're talking about.

quote:Too bad some people are too stubborn to look at truth. Because if some people would hear the truth in both these statements, maybe then somebody somewhere might decide it really is time to get out of the stubborn as hell closet and hire an OC. And also drop that totally ineffective soft-prevent defense at crucial points in the game.

Do you really think Chip Kelly, Brian Kelly, Urban Meyer or hell Hudspeth from ULL could not do as well?
Dude, I hate to break it to you, but Miles is not doing anything that others are capable of doing. I'll give him this, he's a great recruiter, but I don't think he's a great coach.
