"They've got a closer now," San Antonio forward Stephen Jackson said. "(Gordon) took the game over and was going to work at the end of the game, doing what he wanted. He closed the game for them, and that was what they were missing -- a closer."

The Cornerstone is "bout dis life".

We're like their little brother thanks to the Monty/Demps/Pops connection. They hosted the Hornets for voluntary workouts before training camp and the players probably bonded over tacos and tequila and hating Jason Smith for ruining all the chicas.

San Antonio annoys the shite out of me when we play them. Primarily because they're so damned good and Ginobli and Parker are clutch.

When we're not playing them, I actually pull for them.

It seems the Hornets/Spurs have an amount mutual respect.

I respect the Spurs for what they have done since the late-nineties, but frick them. They ruined our best chance for a title.

I was there and they broke my heart. But I kind of think it was their job to try real hard.
