Talk to 2 LSU players that have declared...***Spolier :CSB:***

When I meet a player I usually ask "who is the best player you've ever played against" or something lame about games in Tiger Stadium. With these 2 guys I asked them whats it like playing for Coach Miles.
1 guy answered and the other agreed with everything said "Coach Miles is a great man and great family man. I love playing for him. He is literally like a dad to 95% of his players. And I would run through a brick wall for him." "A high profile job like that will take some flack, but none of us care about what critics think."

I've ALWAYS been a negatiger and a Miles hater (well, mostly since JJ), but I would never even try to claim that he is not a great man. I've never even tried to claim that the players don't like him. I know he is one hell of a motivator and a damn good recruiter. No doubt a great man. He just sucks at gameday coaching & is not much of an offensive mind..

I mean the majority of all players in any sport loves and respect their coaches if they were on the field/court. Hell go ask Kentuck players they'll probably say the same thing about Joker Phillips even tho hes gone now. Only people id expect not to like Miles on this team would be the guys who didnt get in. And everyone knows who im talking bout, yet even he still praises Miles,

Well that solves it, he's a great coach. Come on do you really think it matters if he's a family man? Saban is a dick, most great coaches are dicks. Win football games. I couldn't give a shite if miles is likeable

This 100%. And don't cross him. There is an ugly side.

I have no doubt he is a good man to his players.
I question his ABILITY TO COACH EFFECTIVELY.

I dk about those guys, but as a Miles detractor, I will say I have always believed this very strongly. In fact, I think this is his greatest asset, and something even a non-fan has to give him great credit for.

Can we ever get a player who says Miles is a great football coach? He teaches great Xs and Os? He's a great man, cool. LSU pays him to be a great football coach.
