Let preface this by saying it is unsubstantiated!

I was talking to a friend of mine with some media contacts. He is not an LSU guy at all. His contacts a few folks that cover the NFL. He asked me if I heard anything about Norv Turner taking over the OC job at LSU. I laughed and said I wish.

Has anyone heard anything like this? If this is breaking the rules some how, delete please.

Miles has worked with Cameron and gailey. I could see those two as really slim possibilities if there is a change because of the relationships. Moreso Cameron. Those are the types of guys it would take to put les in his place about this offense, which is why he'll never approach them about a job. As for as turner, he'll be a coveted nfl OC and get locked up quick.

Norv Turner isn't going from being a very good pro OC, a multiple time Pro HC (albeit a bad one), to an OC in college where he hasn't coached since 1984, at age 60.

He'll take a pro OC job or retire.

At 60 he may want to become more of a teacher coaching kids vice coaching grown men.

I dont think it would happen but wouldnt be a bad hire. He may find the college game to be intriguing.

But it would be tough to go from living in San Diego to BR....I
ve live in SD majority of my years post Louisiana and it is a hard place to leave.

oh jesus christ..Yea, an NFL head coach is going to TOTALLY demote himself, to try to get a NCAA job.

You know how much money he would be losing in doing that?

Jets and Cowboys looking at him. I guess if LSU matches the $2 million they would offer he could drop to college.
