yes, this topic is new and exciting but i just cant get into it; even as a bengals "fan" that game yesterday was a snoozer.

maybe when i was a teenager the commercials were shorter or something? idk, not enough action to keep me interested.

anyone else? pls respond.

Its turned more into something I have on in the background. Dont pay attention to the games as much anymore.

I feel the same way. College football is more interesting to me because you follow the players from the day they step on campus as nobodys to the time the leave. It's more interesting to watch these players develop than it is to watch your favorite NFL team's players bounce to another team for more money.

I probably wouldn't watch that much if it wasn't for Fantasy Football.

I'd lose interest in life too if I was from Ohio.

I'm not a die hard like I used to be but I still watch and enjoy it. All the changes over the last few years have diminished my love for the game. Way too many commercials as well.

are the commercials longer during the playoffs or something?

i also dont play fantasy football which probably contributes to my lack of interest.

It's nowhere near as bad as the average college game. SEC games on CBS have basically become unwatchable because of the number of commercials. It's a 4 hour, all day commitment to watch a game

yep, it's called growing up I remember the days when I would be depressed for weeks after my team lost. Now I'll be upset for like 5 mins and then I don't give a shite anymore.

Me too. And not just a little bit. It's been a big time decline in interest.

I only watch non-Saints regular season games because of fantasy. I like the playoffs though.

yeah, something about college football still seems *pure* to me (even though i realize it isnt); more compelling storylines while the NFLs are mostly artificially media influenced (tebow, etc)

i'm shocked sports lasted as long as they did

I'm still trying to internally figure out if last year's bullshite with the national championship game has turned me off to college football because I finally got fed up with the pure bullshite that is college football, or if I'm just a bitter LSU fan.
