Well until someone actually turns a DeLorean into a time machine, it's pretty pointless to speculate.

It's time for Shep to stop taking swipes. I understand that his CFB career was frustrating and that he's disappointed with how things trned out. As a young man who's been idolized for much of his adolescence, the realization that life doesn't always go as we'd like is probably a pretty tough pill to swallow. It always is the first few times.

Time for him to look foward and work his arse off for the combine. I still see the talent there.

shep should be very excited that he actually kept his sholly at LSU.

most fans can't get over his rival's ranking.

he should have gone to a different school. Johnny Football would not have gotten his chance at LSU,Bama, Okl, etc... Also the headcoach told him to get better or he would not play and he worked his arse off and is very good now...

What did Shep do? He thought he was better than he was and forgot to put in the work. Sometimes you have to look at the compition and not let yoor ego get in the way. When the QBs ahead of you are all over 6'2" and all of the WR are bigger and just as fast. Maybe go look someplace else to make your mark.

He would have to learn ball security………

His best option may have been a move to DB……

You posters need to realize that we had better options than Shep. He was a great ambassador for LSU but he wasn't the best playmaker. He wasn't shifty and does not have elite speed. If he would've bulked up earlier in CFB career then maybe he would've gotten more touches.

This.
Also he was a 5 star dual threat qb. NOT WR OR RB

Do you really wish him the best, or did you wanna see him get bashed? Because that's all this thread is gonna accomplish.

You think this is bashing?
Did you take up for JJ like you are doing with Shep?

Actually, yeah I took up for Jordan quite a bit when warranted. Lee too.

It does raise questions about coaching practices. If he was a QB in HS, but wasn't recruited to be a QB, what was he recruited for at all? If he was a QB and told to improve, but didn't, then why keep the scholly? If he was a QB and played in only certain "trick" run plays, but seldom for a game breaker, then what is somebody thinking? If he was a QB but played as an occasional receiver, except his hands weren't receiver hands and so many, many passes to him dropped, then what's the point? I don't wish him anything but the best for playing at LSU. I just regret he didn't get better coaching, so he could have achieved whatever potential he had (but did not reach) as an "athlete" player.
