Famous Excuses

I don't post on here much but just find a few things funny. The most common excuses or come backs on here are actually kind of hilarious.
Coaching- Anytime this comes up someone always says Miles is not replaceable. My question is, what did he achieve at Okie St.? Did he win a championship? No.
Next comparison is always Saban. What did he accomplish before LSU? No championships, not hardly anything. Actually if I remember right he had never won a bowl game.
With that being said, how can one always make the assumption another coach could or could not be successful at LSU based off of these examples?
Then comes the famous 90's. Who cares what happened in the 90's? Everything has changed since the 90's. It does not matter what happened then, what matters is what is happening now. There's no reason to worry about the past when it can't do anything. Only doing what's best for the future and now can accomplish anything so why does "do you remember the 90's" always come up?

"We felt like with Jordan Jefferson's feet and ability to move, get out of the rush, that it was fair that he finish,"- Miles told ESPN sideline reporter Erin Andrews after the game.

Remember the 90s comes up to show that LSU has never been a powerhouse and to see how far we've come as a football program. By powerhouse I mean owning a decade full of titles. I want LSU to succeed in everything they do as I am an alumni but sometimes the accomplishments get lost in the failures. Fact is the program is in good shape and will win another title despite what many think.
