ETA: Was out there 2 years ago for the tournament. By far the best golf tournament I have ever been too.

It was so intense too.. I've never been more into a Ryder Cup than this past one. When Tiger pimped walked that putt in (Day 2?) and pointed at his teammates as he left the green, I was standing up and screaming.

I'm surprised we blew the Ryder Cup after building the big lead.
However, I'm not surprised we lost in general. The Euros are typically better than us in Ryder Cups.
The Euro's passion for the Ryder Cup is greater - and they tend to be more clutch and creative (i.e. Poulter).

This tournament is usually hard to pick. The players, for the most part, treat it like a vacation. I'll just throw Bill Haas out there as the winner.
