which is a worse loss? losing by 10 or by 1?

Of course, we would all choose to win.

Had a discussion with a gator fan. He was making fun of our loss to Clemson by 1. He said he would rather be destroyed all game than lose at the last second.

I prefer to be as close to victory as possible, I guess if I had to choose a way to lose.
And yes I know we both lost so it doesn't matter.
How does the rant feel about that?

Losing by 1 in the Chicken Bowl sucked.

Losing by 10+ in the BCSNCG last year, really sucked.

What sucks even worse, is losing by either when you shouldn't lose (the game in question) period.

Emotionally, maybe. But why would you want to watch your team get demolished like we got last year?

yea that's my thinking. Last year getting blown out the entire game really really sucked.

I'd rather have that hope to the last minute that we could win than know that we are going to lose after the first quarter.

By 1. It means you have less to fix.

Fla didn't lose by 10, they were dominated all night long.

I would rather lose by 1 at the end of the game to a higher ranked team than to get crushed by a Big East team all game.

Totally depends on the opponent, but LSU pulled a Clemson against Clemson and Florida completely shite the bed agains the Big East. I don't think any Florida fan has a right to talk shite after that performance last night.

my answer: I want LSU to play well and compete in any game they play. I don't like to see them get dominated, or to make dumb mistakes. I also don't like to see a lack of effort on anyone's part. I will take a close loss over the team not showing up any day.

rantard answer: nobody cares what a florida fan thinks
