| My Immigration Reform policy (Posted on 1/3/13 at 12:29 pm)
The major selling point in my Illegal Immigration Reform policy is mandatory military service. Want to stay in this country and earn your citizenship? Learn English, join the military, serve for 4-6 years without being dishonorably discharged, and you will be granted immediate citizenship upon completion of service. That way you are instilled with a sense of pride and honor in country and you learn the values that make America...well...America.

Yeah, use them as cannon fodder on the front lines, so there won't be as many returning to the North American continent. Brilliant!

Better to just shoot them as they cross the border, and be done with it Mo? Part of the F&F gunwalking strategy perhaps?

Yeah, since we have already replaced all our doctors and engineers with immigrants from east Asia and the Indian subcontinent, and considering how 4.2 million jobs have been outsourced and offshored to China, we might as well hand over our military as well. Geez, I just love "my" country.

If anyone was serious about slowing illegal immigration they would focus on the employer side of the equation. Real prison time + forfeiture of assets would dry up the jobs fast. No one is going to do that though because there's really no one in Washington opposed to illegal immigration.

Here's a couple of my ideas: 1. Major consequences to companies that hire illegal immigrants. Cut the bull shite ICE is doing right now to companies where they are fining people if something is signed on the wrong line. 2. Six month amnesty period for you to begin the process of citizenship. As long as you get on the records and complete your citizenship requirements then you will not have any consequences for being illegal. After the amnesty period deportations with confiscation of personal property to be sold at auction to offset costs of holding and deportation. 3. A military option would be available. Training would include english lessons. You will be under a visa during your 4 years. After the completion of the 4 years you will become a citizen. 4. In state tuition for all those in the process of obtaining citizenship. Let's make these people capable of contributing. 5. Temporary visas for employment. You can come over and work as many do now but you need to pay taxes like all of us. Those are just a few ideas of come up with or borrowed.

Exactly! Our elected officials (banking representatives) and MNC's don't mind seeing the population replaced and demographics shifted. Sovereignty and the Republic mean jack shite to these predators.

I don't know what it is, but there's something about immigration that turns otherwise normal individuals into authoritarian dickholes. Our policies encourage illegal immigration. The government doesn't want to tackle it because they want cheap labor and future voters. Illegal immigration itself is not really the problem, but rather our social/entitlement policies. If I lived in a poor, violent country, and someone told me there was a place nearby where I could bring my family, receive food assistance and have my children educated for free, and hospitals that would treat me even if I couldn't pay, and make more money than I was making currently, I'd go in a hot minute. Our government puts out the cheese and people wanna build walls and set up rat traps to make sure the rats don't get to it. It's asinine. IMO we should make it super easy to come here and work here legally, but close access to social welfare and schooling. That way people are more likely to simply come and work for a short while and then return to their families.

I get what you are trying to do but that would be a terrible idea making them join the military. Most wouldn't want to be there and would just scrape by enough to do their four years and be done. The military standards were piss poor in the '70s because of the draft. Most draftees didn't want to be there and could care less about the service they were in. That makes for a bad military.
