BUCKWILD is an authentic comedic series following an outrageous group of childhood friends from the rural foothills of West Virginia who love to dodge grown-up responsibilities and always live life with the carefree motto, "whatever happens, happens."

Money might be tight in their neck of the woods, but whether they're throwing a dump truck pool party or building their own human slingshot, nothing stops them from making their own entertainment. Love and relationships come and go, but their bond with family and friends is always at the core for this eccentric group where anything goes!

This replaces Jersey Shore

I won't be watching this. The commercials for it look simply awful.

It may be "get off my lawn"-ish, but sometimes I feel like MTV is trying to turn the next generation into total assholes.

They've been doing this since about '92. If not earlier.

Nah, not like this though.

The "worst" things then were shite like The Real World or MTV Spring Break week, both of which were pretty tame compared to now. Now they are making celebrities out of 16 year olf kids getting pregnant and shite like this Buckwild shite. I mean shite, as bad as Jersey Shore was (influence-wise), they were at least all adults.

Coco, I find myself agreeing with you almost all of the time.

MTV is a network that panders to the lowest form of the dregs of society today.

I find that TLC panders to the dregs, while MTV actually encourages the lifestyle.

Interesting point. I think you're right.
The question is, which is worse?

Ah hell, they both suck. At least with TLC you get Cake Boss and the little people type stuff that tries to promote positive attributes of humanity.

MTV just says basically, "frick it. frick humanity."
