Why so many? I've seen so many Louisiana license plates on vehicles with a fleur de lis Saints logo and a Crimson 'A'.

Because all of the Bama fans only started liking football at the beginning of the Saban years, when a team nearby them, aka Bama, became good.
Then, continuing with the theme of liking said sport, a few years later, they latched onto the closest successful NFL team.. the Saints.

Why? It makes sense. LSU is in Louisiana as is New Orleans. Is it weird to see Tennessee Vols logo next to a Titans 'T' logo?

Because there isn't a pro football team in our state, so we can freelance. Some choose the Falcons, others pick the Saints. It was easy for me. "Saints" are good people, "Falcons" are birds.

If they want to go for the Saints then let them, it hurts nothing. As long as they aren't coming on here the second anything goes wrong during games, or starting stupid threads I do no care. In fact, the people who are most guilty of the bull shite on this board are hardcore LSU fans that should stick to the Rant.
I don't care for Bama, but if we can have a mutual liking for the Saints, then that works for me.

Seriously, people wonder why other schools in Louisiana do not like LSU - it's because of their fans. Not all of their fans, because every team has a-holes who wonder why anyone would cheer for any other team than the great and almighty LSU.

At least one good thing I can say about 'bama-Saints: they don't come in here and menstruate all over the board when a Saint shows up on the LSU sidelines.
