Obviously you suck at context clues.

:swag:

I was about to say Brady is probably one of the cockiest players in the NFL when its a big game. Like the Texans game this year

I really don't care about things that don't fricking matter at all and this is certainly something that I don't care about

I appreciate honesty primarily. When athletes tell me me mvp's and records aren't there goal I just think they're fake.

I don't have a problem with someone being honest. But are you saying Manning and Brees are fake/liars?

manning has a public face that he puts on without a doubt

fellow saints fans will get mad at me here but brees kind of comes off like a douche often. they just pull the "he's just being a leader" card out. brees is a lot more like brady than manning. brees/brady like their cocky dicks come out a lot more

i've seen Manning get after his teammates...there are a couple of great youtube videos of it. but i also don't think he tries to cover that either. I just don't see him as fake. I also don't think, my opinion of course, that he cares about records more than he does winning. i think he'd trade several of those records for a couple of more rings. Believe it or not I think Lebron has become that way as well. I just don't think cockiness/confidence and humility have to be mutually exclusive.

If that's how the athlete feels, it's how he feels.

He doesn't get paid by how much the team does, he gets paid for his own individual stats.

Laugh my fricking arse off.

Both Brady and Brees have no problem showing their cockiness out there. It shows fire, and it works.

i've definitely seen it in Brady and i'm not doubting you or Slow's comments on Brees...but what exactly does he do that makes you say this?

I think it speaks more to culture and perception. I see Cam acting like a bitch when hes losing, not when hes not scoring TDs.

I loved Joe Horn, he was flashy and a showman to the point of nausea. I never for one second thought he was about his numbers before the team. Of course, numbers is how he makes a living so I wouldnt begrudge him if that was the case.

If he sees it like me, Brees gives canned answers that is very company line. I dont think its douchey, I question the sincerity of his answers sometimes. I will say, he has been measured and won the PR battle during bountygate. Hes stuck his neck out for guys like Vilma and knows when to talk and when to shut up.

It just might be the fact that even in garbage time, he was trying hard as hell to get a throwing touchdown to keep the streak alive.

Yeah I meant my post as a little more funny, but I came off as a massive prick.

Sorry about that
