I'm not suggesting JJ, because I know he had performance issues, but LSU needs a speedster running QB.

We NEED an O-Line that can block consistently.
ETA: I do like QBs that can escape a pass rush though.

Jerrard Randall is very fast and strong arm. Not very accurate. Anthony Jennings, and Rob Bolden are ok.

Our OL and WR were much better last year and our QB output wasn't as good as this year.

WE have 4-5 more than capeable running backs.
We need to focus on an above avg oline, above avg wrs and a qb that can throw the football.

My dad was in the NFL, coached Division 1 football, played pro ball.etc.. Actually called Mett a statue. Said he would NEVER draft him, would bring him in as a free agent. Said LSU needs a mobile QB.Just an outside professional opinion with no bias. Problem is Miles. He will stick with Mett like JJ.

Mett reminds me so much of Ryan Mallett it's not even funny. RM is the textbook definition of a statue. And he got drafted by the Pats.

Mallet was way better, but in Mett's defense, our scheme is terrible and O Line play was bad so maybe in our system, Mallet would be similarly ineffective.
