Why No Hating On The Defense?

Because the shitty offense left them on the damn field. Clemson had a top ten offense and we gave the them the fricking ball to many damn times.

They played 100 plays in the game, they were hurting and gased

You'd be tired too if you were on the field for about 80% of the game

After 95 plays on the field, because the offense was the pits, the defense had nothing left to give. And half of them were injured or cramping. Can't put this on defense....

Our defense was on the field for 36 minutes.

Cause the offense sucks. If they can sustain drives the d won't be on the field all game. See Florida game.

And because the D couldn't get off the field, 32 1st downs weren't after the 100 plays.

If the offense could have not gone 3 and out about a million times in a row, Clemson wouldn't have had the ball as much. LSU's defense wouldn't have had to defend 105 plays.

The fact that LSU's defense held an offense like Clemson to only 25 points when they ran 105 plays is pretty good.

For example... Alabama ran 52 plays against LSU this year and scored 21 points.

With an offense as good as Clemson, holding them to 25 (on a last second field goal) while running double the amount of plays that Alabama ran, is pretty good.

Not-to-mention, LSU's defense created a couple of turnovers that gave the offense easy scores.

If it wasn't for the defense creating turnovers, LSU may have had a real problem getting points.

The defense gets a pass that's why. Defense is the only reason we weren't 2-9
