While I see the yardage looks great, we never really established the run.

Probably because we couldn't back em off the line with the threat of a pass game.

I am as frustrated as can be, but not sure this is the best example.

Hill is a beast hes the best RB ive seen ever at LSU. Other than a few games with Cecil the Diesel, hes the best. He is a Kevin Faulk with tackle breaking and punishing ability, he will go down as one of the all time greats if the caoches give him the touches.

Its a catch 22 for Miles, he so wants to give everyone who practices hard and has ability to get on the field in the big games.
It is honorable to do this and loyalty is a good thing to show your kids and team. But being blindly loyal is dangerous as well.
He seems to not recognize that great runners need to get into a rhythm. Kinda like Clemson's QB and once they are there they win the game for u.
I know Hill went the wrong way on two consecutive touches and caused a 3 and out but he's a race horse give him the freaking ball and get out of the way.

I had an old High School coach, RIP, Charlie Brown, who always said run your best horse on race day.

The perimeter was open. The plays they attempted to run were terrible at that point of attack. How our staff didn't recognize this is pathetic. We ran the same old plays and didn't adjust to what the defense was giving us on the corrner because we didn't have the plays to run to take advantage of the defense. The bottom line is that this has been a problem for Miles and LSU eve since Kragthorpe arrived at LSU, he had very below average record when he arrived and it has negatively affected LSU since he has been at LSU. The O-line Coach needs to be on the field with his guys and not in the coaches box. This system sucks.

Because Miles likes his backs to average 3-4 yards per carry. Hill just wasn't getting it done, so had to sit.

Hill has showed that he should be the feature back at LSU, but there is no such thing at LSU. Any other team in the NCAA would play this guy as much as possible.

The amazing Charles Scott disappearing act (vs Kentucky 2007) reared it's ugly head once again.
