Last night was a great example of the dangers of running a simpleton offense

that makes 2 bowls in a row

outside of some big runs, our running game was never establishing itself and we had very few sustained drives

we never developed a legit passing scheme (and blocking scheme failure is a big part of that) this year that we could rely on, so it's not shocking that our passing game was not something that we could rely on to sustain drives

what does that lead to? 100 defensive plays and our D being carved up twice to end the game against a weak arse ACC offense. or if we go up against a talented and more creative offense we get beat 21-0 and embarrass ourselves

LSU makes bad defenses look great time after time.

We will always struggle against teams that have more than a week to prepare for us as long as Stud is running the offense.

TCU will be more of the same as last night.

Y'all offensive coordinator is a fricking idiot. Whoever called the last three plays should be fired this morning. clemson used no timeout. I will give him the first play that was a pass but 2nd and 2 and you throw the fricking ball twice with Hill and Ford on the team, WTF.

Miles doesn't have a hair on his arse if he doesn;t fire the OC and his staff and bring in someone that knows what in the frick they are doing.

This staff consistently wastes mores offesnive talent than any other staff in the nation.

Just my opinion

Plenty ... PLENTY ... of examples ... BEFORE last night.

plenty of examples since 2005

and this applies to every offense, not just LSU's

bama showed on 1/9/12 that they're more than capable of opening things up and relying on the pass and aggressive plays, so they're not exactly comparable (and saban has a history of letting teams back in by playing scared late, which is his biggest flaw)

In this case, I have to agree with you

If I hear Ed Cunningham call it a conservative offense one more time....

To the average fan it may seems that LSU offense is simple but in reality the offense is way more complex than Clemson. I would bet Clemson does less but does those plays very well

No excuse for Les Miles' offense to look so shitty for so long...Our doofus of a head coach will do absolutely fricking nothing to try and make it better because he doesn't have a clue.

Yet another game where we can't establish the LOS.

To be fair they tried to open it up early, but O-line couldn't block for shite.

Also our D was carved up early and it wasn't because they were on the field too often

post saban (not that he left us with a full contingent in 2007) talent, we've had 1 good year of OL play (2011)

let's let that sink in, especially when our coach is supposed to be an OL expert and our OC is our OL coach

hence why failing to establish a good blocking scheme and passing game early on this year hurts us

it really hurt us against UF

it was shockingly good against Bama so no complaints there

It was not this bad in 2007 and 2010.

Do you mean post Saban's players? What was wrong with the O line in 2007? 2008 was pretty good.

Another reason the D was in the field a lot was they consistently gave up third and longs through the game.

Nobody played well last night and it wasn't a scheme issue
