when Robert N. commits the rest of the top studs will follow ...btw very impressed with the LSU commits in the offense defense all american bowl today Rashard Robinson iced it with a int!

We won't be #1 even if RN signs, but we have a heck of a class. Get one of the JC WR's on board, and a Safety(Willis), and we compete with any class....

Only shot we have at #1 is if Bama loses some commits, misses completely on their remaining targets and we land Nkemdiche, Willis, Beckwith, Bain and another stud not on the radar. The jucos and McNeil won't matter because none of them likely sign in February. The sites don't do revisionist rankings in the summer. They do enrolled rankings but they never change them significantly.
The top reason, our commits aren't ranked high enough. We have a very good class at the moment with a chance of it being excellent but the rankings aren't in our favor. Doesn't matter anyway. Our class will stack up on the field with anyones.

IMHO Louisiana players are underrated by rivals and other services. Louisiana is #1 in per capita players on nfl rosters!

The #1 player in the USA is not going to a perenial cellar dweller like Ole Miss, brother or no brother. RN has to think about his future. He will be at a first class program, but I'm not sure it will be LSU?

Unless USC has half of their class decommit, that is unlikely. But, regardless of rankings, I love our class.

Lsu defense has 5 of the top 50 rated players in April's draft. Lsu played the second most freshman this year behind Texas and tcu. Who wouldn't want to come to a top 10 defense that produces NFL players and were you have a chance to play early and often.
