I think he will be the next shutdown corner for us even before the Jalens.

Dont forget Rashard Robinson, just shut down everyone at the O/D Bowl all week and game. Had an INT in the game as well.

Yes he did, but Robinson will need to bulk up to get playing time. White will be able to contribute right away.

This post gave me goosebumps. I see a #7 jersey in his future.

He needs to get a little bigger but he can definitely play right away. It's not like he's an OL/DL.

I said months ago to not be surprised if he earns a 5th star at the all American games.

Boutte dropping is the latest rankings was a joke too.

I wish i could provide more info. EVERYBODY is killing it in both bowls... If they keep it up, the Tigers will jump alot of people in the final rankings.

Under Armour Updates LSU related

* Kendell Beckwith looks really good physically too - on that subject.
LSU should get a good one on UA game day.
* Beckwith also showing soft hands in LB drills.
* Kendell Beckwith with a big hit on Alvin Kamara on an inside run.

In response to a Josh McNeil picture
* Is it just me or does McNeil look out of shape as well?
* Definitely has some added weight since The Opening in July

* Robert Nkemdiche's first step impressive. First and second step looking elite for his size
* Robert Nkemdiche dominant in 1-on's
* Nkemdiche making 1-on's child's play. First step explosive

* Tim Williams showing his burst and lateral ability too
* Tim Williams is the smallest defensive end out here. Having a hard time with the bigger lineman.
* Tim Williams edge quickness showing out today. Just an elite athlete.

* Priest Willis with a nice pick in 7-on. Arms extended INT
* Priest Willis also having a good day breaking on the ball

* LSU commit Greg Gilmore powers right through A&M commit Joas Aguilar in 1-on's. drew a lot of praise

If rumors of Simon going pro are true, I can see White opposite Mills and Collins staying in the same role. Future is bright. I wonder if Holmes will develop.

US Army Updates LSU related

* For a kid that hasn't played WR much at all since his sophomore season, John Diarse looks as smooth as the other WRs on the West. Catches the ball clean, runs good routes, and adjusts to the ball well when it is in the air.

* Josh Boutte looks great as a pulling guard
* Josh Boutte is country strong. He just threw Isaiah Golden to the ground

* Ricky Seals-Jones looks the part physically but very raw as a receiver. Struggled to get seperation a couple of times and running sloppy routes.
* Ricky Seals-Jones has been the favorite target for QBs so far but he has struggled with his hands

* Tre'Davious White looks great at CB. Blanketing receivers and in their hip pocket every time.
* Tre'Davious White completely shut down Derrick Griffin in one on ones. The qb had to tuck it
* Tre'Davious White isn't letting the WRs get off the line. He's a great cover guy

* Rettig has thrown the ball well and made one beautiful pass on a post where he led the receiver perfectly. Arm strength looks about average right now but his ball placement is very good.

* Smith just made a nice grab where he adjusted to the ball thrown behind him and plucked it out of the air with his hands.

Anyone know Tre'Davious White's 40 time? I know he was a standout track athlete. We could end up having two 4.3 corners in White and Robinson.

shutdown corner

the most overused and less factual name in football. there is no such animal. solid corner...good corner...great corner, yeah I'll buy that. against like comp all corners get beat. who, by the way, were our other shut down corners...PP7...Mo...TM7...Simon? they all got beat and they all made lots of plays....shutdown, no.

Settle down Sheldon...He's a shutdown corner, cause its the vernacular of the positional evaluation criteria of the elite at his position.

Like I've said, Tim Williams has the smallest arms of any top 100 DE that I have ever seen.

I doubt that dude has ever touched a weight.
