Not that this will help the massive flow of rumors, but there are always two sides to a story/rumor.

quote:

From Chris Low at ESPN today.

"I don't know where all this stuff [about the NFL] comes from," Nick Saban said. "When I say I'm looking for the next challenge, it's the next challenge here and the next challenge with our team next year here. This is where we want to be and what we're happy doing.
"It's to the point now that anything you say about this, nobody believes. So it's almost like, 'What the hell?'"

Yep. The situation is exactly the same. Saban is a young guy who doesn't have any experiences. He also is kind of a dolt who doesn't learn from stuff and makes the same mistake over and over.

"Ok I guess I have to say it. I am not going to be the Alabama coach."

And you wonder why he has little credibility?

That being said, he isn't going anywhere. He knows that he can't coach against the big boys.

Not compared to the likes of the Packers, Broncos , 49'ers, etc. He tried it, got kicked around and hauled his azz out.

I really like Saban. But he annoys the shite out of me with the "we" crap. You're a top 5 all time coach. Own that shite.

I think he's gone and can coach with the best. He's a better coach than Carroll and look at what he's doing in Seattle on the highest level. IMO Saban wants a ring in the nfl and gets a ring in the nfl in 3 years if he leaves.

If he buys one on Pawn Start. Not if he goes to Cleveland...

Have you watched Cleveland this season? They only have 2 glaring needs along with the discipline Saban would bring; a QB and depth at WR and both can be addressed in the offseason thru draft and FA.

Yes. They are a team getting better, but they drafted a QB this year in Weeden. I can't imagine they draft another one.
Also, they are on a division with three of the best teams in the AFC. It's going to take a couple of those teams to falter for a few years for Cleveland to step ahead of them.
To say he wins a ring in 3 years at Cleveland is kind of silly.
